CREATING HIGH-PERFORMANCE FACILITIES THROUGH INTEGRATION
The book “Integrating Project Delivery” and CIFE have defined a high-performance facility as a facility with exceptional buildability, usability, operability, and sustainability and have outlined a set of integration strategies and practices to create high-performance facilities. This year’s CIFE Summer Program will show how projects and companies have applied these integration strategies and practices to create high-performance facilities. The measurable definition of high performance and the integration of project information, the integration of organizations, and the integration of multi-disciplinary knowledge from all project phases into work processes will receive particular attention during the program. As in recent programs, there will be an opportunity to meet the incoming graduate students in Sustainable Design and Construction in the afternoon of the second day of the program.
